Originating approximately 250 million years ago, the Archosauria ("Ruling Reptiles") became one of the most diverse and successful clades of vertebrates on earth. However, many of the amazing creatures that are a part of that diversity are often overshadowed by the poster children of the archosaurs - the dinosaurs. This blog looks at those often forgotten archosaurs, focusing especially on the croc-line, but occasionally looking at the bird-line and even outside of crown-group Archosauria.
The new "Crurotarsi Diversity" banner by M. Karala looks great...and the new layout looks great too! ;-) Why not presenting her work and your new improved layout in a new post? Sort of a summary with a brief profile for each "cruro-character"?!?
Whoa, thanks for featuring my art on the banner. That was a nice surprise after not visiting here for a while. I'm really honored (though I might have appreciated it even more if you'd asked first).
I did ask, or at least I tried. I sent an email to the address listed on deviantart, but I never heard anything from you. I figured the second best I could do was to give you credit and make sure the pic linked back to you. I hope it's ok and if not, I can take it down. No worries.

I love the new look of the page, the picture section is awesome! Thank you very much for all your hard work.
ReplyDeleteThanks! I do my best. I just wish I had more time.

Oh, okay. In that case, I'm sorry for not answering. I never got the email, probably because it got lost in the overwhelming amount of spam I get.
ReplyDeleteYou're, of course, welcome to keep the picture up as long as you want. :)
